LOCATION:Mesa, AZ
PAY RATE: $63.00/hour

Summary: 

  • Applies Design Principles in conjunction with Material Review Board (MRB) processes to disposition discrepant products during initial fabrication and installation of electrical wire harnesses.

  • Provides on-site, direct engineering support to Operations partners in a production environment.

  • Reviews and interprets electrical drawing diagrams, schematics, and specifications.

  • Applies knowledge of electrical fabrication and installation planning of electrical wire harnesses.

  • Uses prior commercial airplane (BCA) or defense (BDS) systems knowledge for engineering support.

  • Applies prior knowledge of VC-25 or 747 airplane design principles including wiring diagrams and specifications.

  • Dispositions discrepant products using MRB processes during fabrication and installation phases.

  • Supports wire harness fabrication and installation with engineering technical expertise.

  • Provides engineering support in an Operations and Production environment.

Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience (e.g. PhD, Master 3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

  • Engineering or technical degree from an ABET (preferred) accredited college.

  • Capable of reviewing and interpreting electrical drawing diagrams, schematics, and specifications.

  • Experience with Material Review Board (MRB) processes for product dispositioning.

  • Knowledge of electrical fabrication and installation planning of electrical wire harnesses.

  • Familiarity with prior commercial airplane (BCA) or defense (BDS) systems.

  • Prior knowledge of VC-25 or 747 airplane design principles including wiring diagrams and specifications.

  • Ability to work a 3 x 12 shift (Friday through Sunday) in an Operations or Production environment.

  • US Citizen or US Person status.
