Title : Product Review Engineer 4

Location: San Antonio, TX - Onsite

Salary Range: $75 to $80/hr on W2

Contract Duration : 9 + Months with possibility to extension

Introduction

We are seeking proactive individuals who can make quick engineering decisions and go beyond their desk to engage in hands-on engineering in a factory environment. This role involves close collaboration with production personnel and requires excellent communication skills.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Engineering degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Electrical Engineering Technology.
  • Experience with the design of structural and electrical rework/repairs to restore aircraft or systems to original design capability.
  • Previous Commercial Material Review Experience or Airlines experience.
  • Prior work experience in the client's industry.
  • Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Experienced in reading/creating engineering drawings, specifications, processes, and design manuals.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience with avionics systems troubleshooting, wire bundle installations, and aircraft electrical systems troubleshooting.
  • Materials Review Board (MRB)/ Universal Product Review (UPR) approval authority certification.
  • Executive interior installation/design experience.
  • Modification & Repair experience on wide body aircraft.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Apply broad knowledge of design and engineering principles.
  • Assess and resolve product/process issues throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Lead research of technical, operational, and quality issues, designing interim and final engineering solutions.
  • Analyze reported problems for potential safety issues and recommend complex resolutions.
  • Develop and lead non-destructive test procedures, tools, and standards.
