    Join our dynamic legal team and be a pivotal part of consumer technologies that delight customers. We are looking for a talented product regulatory counsel to join Amazon's Devices legal team. You will provide legal support for a wide array of consumer electronics products, including Ring, Blink and other flagship-branded devices. In this role, you will counsel senior business clients on strategic initiatives and key legal issues throughout the life cycle of our products. These include product compliance, safety, sustainability, and other regulatory requirements.

    You will develop strategies for handling legal issues in creative, business-centric ways. You will build processes that address risks while enabling business teams to move with speed and flexibility. The successful candidate will be inquisitive, enthusiastic about technology, enjoy working hard and being continually challenged, and demonstrate sound judgment in ambiguous situations.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Serve as primary legal counsel for hardware product regulatory matters across multiple product lines

    • Develop comprehensive legal strategies addressing product compliance, safety, and sustainability requirements

    • Collaborate with international teams and local counsels to resolve novel legal issues and pre-litigation inquiries

    • Create scalable legal processes that balance risk management with business agility

    • Provide strategic guidance to senior business leaders on regulatory and compliance initiatives

    Some travel, domestic and international, will be required.

    Basic Qualifications

    • 5+ years of legal experience

    • Juris Doctor and membership in one US state bar

    • Experience advising on product regulatory, sustainability, or product safety matters.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work

    • Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

    • Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks related to consumer electronics products

    The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
