Description

JOB TITLE: Product Packager (First Shift)
LOCATION: Sparta, NJ

JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Ensures that all the orders are accurately boxed with correct products, packing materials, and correct label(s). 
  • Assembles or selects the appropriate box for the order. 
  • Examines and inspects material and product for defects and to ensure that packing specifications are met. 
  • Reads orders to verify compliance to special customer requirements. 
  • Prints packing slip and attaches to box with shipping envelope (or uses customer provided packing slip when applicable).

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Basic Packaging skills such as using hand tools, tape machine, and packaging materials. 
  • Knowledge of materials, production processes, quality control, and completion of training. 
  • Knowledge of basic computer skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Outlook and RF Scanning. 
  • Ability to move freight, stock, or other materials weighing up to 125 lbs. to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, by hand or using trucks, tractors, or other equipment.
  • Standing for sustained periods of time. 
  • At least 1 years’ experience related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

HOURS: Monday-Friday 8AM-4:30PM or 10:30AM- 7:00pm Temp-to-perm
PAY: $17-$18
