    What you'll do

    • Own and evolve the product roadmap for a Pharmacy Data Reporting team operating in a post–Client cutover environment.

    • Translate business needs, operational requirements, and technical constraints into a prioritized, actionable product backlog.

    • Create clarity across multiple parallel workstreams, ensuring the team has defined priorities, sequencing, dependencies, and near-term delivery objectives.

    • Lead backlog refinement, product discovery, prioritization discussions, and stakeholder alignment using Jira and Confluence.

    • Define and communicate product goals, requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and success measures.

    • Establish a roadmap that helps leadership assess true team capacity, demand, staffing needs, and tradeoffs.

    • Drive change management as the team continues adapting to a combined data engineering and data analyst operating model.

    • Bring a collaborative, coachable approach that builds trust and credibility with technical and data operations partners.

    • Strong experience developing and maintaining product roadmaps in an environment with competing priorities and numerous concurrent initiatives.

    • Ability to turn ambiguous business and technical needs into a structured product strategy, well-prioritized backlog, and executable delivery plan.

    • Experience partnering with both data engineers and data analysts; comfort navigating the different working styles, deliverables, and dependencies across these groups.

    • Strong stakeholder-management and facilitation skills, including the ability to challenge unclear requests constructively and drive alignment.

    • Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.

    • Strong Agile product-management fundamentals, including backlog refinement, story development, prioritization, sprint planning support, and acceptance criteria.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, operational leaders, and business stakeholders.

    • Healthcare data, health informatics, payer, provider, or enterprise reporting experience.

    • Experience working with cloud data platforms and Databricks.

    • Experience in a DataOps operating model or with teams combining data engineering and data analysis capabilities.

    • Prior experience leading product work through organizational or operating-model change.

    Why this role matters

The Pharmacy Data Reporting team has significant work underway but needs stronger product leadership to create a credible roadmap, sequence competing needs, and establish greater visibility into capacity and delivery. The incoming Product Owner will not simply administer a backlog—they will provide the product direction, prioritization discipline, and cross-functional coordination needed to help the team operate more effectively.

Pharmacy-domain experience is not mandatory, but it will help the candidate quickly establish credibility with data operations partners and contribute more rapidly in a highly visible healthcare-data environment.
