Organizational Expectations:
As a Product Owner or Product Owner Senior on the Pay.gov Product Team, you will be responsible for leading, defining and driving the product roadmap, managing priorities within cross-functional teams and making smart, data driven decisions to have the biggest business impact. You will support the organization by developing and implementing product offerings and processes to scale the business.
GeneralResponsibilities:
Works independently, with guidance only in the most complex situations, to make sound decisions. Typically works outside of standard procedures. Exercises considerable latitude when determining the technical objectives of assignments.
Provides product leadership role for multiple or large-scale business lines or teams.
Drives the implementation of new product offerings through clear communication, cross functional collaboration, agile delivery and project management.
Leads the delivery of features and products that align with business strategy and vision and maximizes customer value.
Represents the voice of the customer in various contexts.
Gathers requirements, creates and refines epics, features and/or user stories and maintains, communicates and prioritizes the product backlog.
Prioritizes delivery impediments, product quality issues, and addresses risks.
Develop and maintain the product roadmap.
Displays a subject matter expert level of understanding of product line and functionality within business where used.
Displays an expert level working knowledge of software and technologies that support the products.
Follow standards for Agile processes and seek opportunities to improve existing processes and partner across teams to establish new processes.
Evaluate priorities and resources to identify where gaps exist and elevate those for resolution.
Proactively build relationships with stakeholders to better understand needs and identify new opportunities to provide value.
Actively participate in PI Planning/Release activities.
Provides leadership in representing product lines at internal Bank and external forums, including System and non-FRB stakeholders.
Serves as a subject matter expert to other Product Owners, defining and sharing best practices.
In the absence of a Product Manager, fulfills duties such as strategic vision, product line growth, and expansion of enterprise application adoption. Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

Location: Cleveland, OH, Columbus, OH, Cincinnati, OH, or Pittsburgh, PA
The expected starting salary range for the Product Owner is between $90,500 and $113,100 and for the Product Owner Senior is between $100,300 and $125,400 and for the Product Owner Advanced is between $111,400 and 139,200 annually. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and market data.
