Job Description
  • We are seeking an experienced Product Manager / Product Owner to help define and deliver next-generation Digital Banking capabilities for consumer and small-business products, including checking accounts, personal savings and debit cards.
  • The role will operate in an Agile/SAFe environment and lead a scrum team responsible for Core Banking capabilities and APIs.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • 7+ years of Product Owner / Product Management experience with a proven track record of defining product vision, strategy and roadmaps.
  • Strong Digital Banking experience, preferably across checking, savings/deposits, debit cards, payments or core banking platforms.
  • Strong understanding of Core Banking capabilities, APIs, system integrations and data flows.
  • Hands-on experience managing product and sprint backlogs, feature decomposition, user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Detailed understanding and practical experience with SAFe / scaled Agile delivery.
  • Experience managing large, complex products involving multiple internal teams, external partners and technology vendors.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, including product KPIs, performance tracking and ROI analysis.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Partner with Product leadership, business stakeholders, architects and engineering teams to define and execute the Digital Banking product vision, strategy and roadmap.
  • Own decision-making and prioritization for the scrum backlog, ensuring alignment with customer needs, business outcomes and the product roadmap.
  • Translate the roadmap into well-defined epics, features, user stories and measurable acceptance criteria.
  • Lead backlog refinement, story elaboration, sprint planning and acceptance of completed user stories.
  • Coordinate with Delivery Managers, Release Train Engineers, TPMs and other Product Owners to manage cross-platform dependencies and delivery risks.
  • Work with design and technology teams to develop, test, launch and rapidly iterate banking capabilities and APIs.
  • Manage relationships with external product partners and technology vendors, including scope alignment, delivery coordination and continuous improvement.
  • Work within a SAFe Agile Release Train and support PI planning, dependency management and release planning across products and markets.
  • Define business metrics and targets, track post-launch product performance, and use analytics to guide prioritization and future investment.
  • Prepare ROI analyses and optimization recommendations for product capabilities and investments.
  • Identify product risks, challenges, opportunities and business-integration needs, and drive resolution across teams.
  • Communicate roadmap, priorities, progress, risks and product outcomes to senior stakeholders and partner teams.
  • Mentor associate Product Managers / Product Owners where required and champion strong Agile product-management practices.
