Title: Product Owner-Cyber Product
Location:
Hybrid 3 days onsite a week - Mclean, VA/Richmond, VA – DMV areaResponsibilities:
Partner with cross-functional teams to clearly communicate and drive implementation of cyber network security integration intents
Leverage strong technical writing skills to develop comprehensive technical artifacts assessing network security integration gaps and recommend closure solutions
Coordinate and lead the remediation of internally assessed Gaps in Policies, Standards and Procedures between the newly joined organization
Coordinate and lead the integration of Application Convergences, supporting Cyber Intent and best-practice security standards for the newly joined organization
Leverage technical knowledge and skills on how systems work and how code is built to effectively support engineering teams in delivering value
Utilize strong cybersecurity background and customer insights to represent the voice of the customer to the engineering team(s)
Act as a technical advisor to the product lead, engineering, and other stakeholders
Collaborate across multiple cross-functional teams and play a key role in Agile ceremonies
Maintain technical and risk credibility and with partners across our technology organization
The ideal candidate will have:
At least 8 years of experience working in cybersecurity or information technology
At least 4 years of experience in cyber product management
At least 4 years of experience working with major cloud based or on-prem network security products (WAF, Bot Protection, DDoS Mitigation, NetSeg, NGFW, IPS/IDS, VPN, SWG, Proxy, or DBCP)
4+ years of experience solving cyber technical challenges
4+ years of experience translating business strategy and analysis into products or written artifacts
4+ years of experience in technical writing
4+ years of hands-on JIRA experience
Experience in a cybersecurity Merger & Acquisition
Experience in regulated financial services organizations and/or tech companies
Professional certifications (SAFe PM/PO, Security+, CCSP, CISA, CRISC, AWS Cloud Practitioner, PMP)
Interview: - 1st round 30 minutes zoom video interviews w/ Thomas
- 2nd round 45 minutes technical interview

- Cross-functional interactivity is important here as not everyone "speaks the same language”
- A lot of documentation with be developed/worked (looking for strong documentation skills)
- Technical Skills: understanding a high level of network (no technical implementation but understand the space)
- Doesn't need to be at an engineer level
