Product Owner

Summary
The Product Owner works as a member of a Scrum Team to help maximize the value of the product and the work of the Scrum Development Team. This role involves creating and managing the Product Backlog, ensuring everyone knows its priorities, and making decisions regarding its content. The Product Owner collaborates closely with the ScrumMaster, Development Team, and key stakeholders to ensure the product meets business needs.
 
Responsibilities

• Maximize the value of the product and the work of the Development Team.
• Create, maintain, and prioritize the Product Backlog according to business value.
• Communicate Product Backlog priorities to the team.
• Act as the key decision-maker regarding product features and release dates.
• Convey the product vision and goals to the team at the beginning of each sprint.
• Work closely with key stakeholders throughout the organization.
• Participate in Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning meetings, Reveals, and Retrospectives.
• Inspect product progress at the end of every Sprint and accept or reject the work done.
• Act as the voice of the team, communicating status externally.
• Champion the agile community and further the community within the organization.
• Support delivery, enhancement, and operational success of digital products.
• Manage and maintain product backlogs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery priorities.
• Gather, document, and analyze business requirements and functional specifications.
• Facilitate workshops and working sessions with stakeholders and technology teams.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing, defect management, and business validation activities.
• Support release planning, deployment activities, training readiness, and change management efforts.
• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for process optimization and improvements.
• Develop stakeholder communications, status reports, product documentation, and training materials.

 
Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of experience in Product Ownership, Business Analysis, Order Management, Supply Chain, or Digital Product Delivery.
• 3 years of experience with Agile methodologies, backlog management, and requirements development.
• Experience supporting enterprise applications such as SAP SD, Salesforce, or related business platforms.
• Strong business analysis, stakeholder management, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.

 
Skills

• Experience managing projects using Agile software tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or Rally.
• Experience with Dealer Ordering, SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce, and enterprise integration initiatives.
• Strong understanding of testing, release management, production support, and continuous improvement practices.
• Experience supporting cross-functional global teams.

 
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $53.00 - $54.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
