Job Title

Product Owner

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Product Owner to manage product development initiatives and ensure successful delivery of business requirements. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders, development teams, QA teams, and business users to define product vision, prioritize features, and drive product success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate product vision, goals, and roadmap.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
  • Create and manage product backlog, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, UI/UX, and stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality product releases.
  • Validate completed features against business requirements.
  • Monitor product performance and gather user feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve blockers and dependencies.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Experience in product management or product ownership
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with backlog prioritization and sprint planning
  • Familiarity with product management and collaboration tools
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, IT, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role
  • Experience working with Agile development teams
  • Scrum Product Owner certification is a plus

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of UI/UX principles
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools
  • Familiarity with API integrations and web technologies
  • Understanding of cloud-based applications and SaaS products
