Product Master Data Specialist (Contract-to-Hire)
Location: Wayne, PA (Hybrid/Onsite)
Pay: $25-$28/hour
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and data-driven Product Master Data Specialist to support the management, accuracy, and synchronization of product and pricing data across internal systems and retail partner platforms.
This role will play a key part in maintaining product catalogs, ensuring data integrity, and supporting cross-functional teams including supply chain, sales, e-commerce, and IT. The ideal candidate enjoys working with data, has strong Excel skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and manage product master data including price lists, item specifications, and catalog details
Oversee new item setup within internal product management (PIM) and ERP systems
Ensure accurate publication of product data to warehouse management systems and retail partners
Monitor and maintain data accuracy across Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN) platforms
Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure catalog completeness and data integrity
Support data synchronization processes and identify opportunities for process improvement
Act as a subject matter expert in product data systems, including PIM platforms and retail publication requirements
Collaborate with e-commerce and IT teams to ensure consistency across systems and troubleshoot data issues
Assist with retail item publications and ensure timely updates for new or modified products
Provide operational support for updates such as item catalog changes and EDI connectivity
Additional Responsibilities
Partner with cross-functional teams including sales, supply chain, and operations on data-related initiatives
Support continuous improvement efforts across data management and operational workflows
Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required
1-2 years of experience in data management, supply chain, inventory, or CPG-related environment preferred
Strong Microsoft Excel skills (data analysis, organization, reporting)
High attention to detail with a passion for data accuracy and organization
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Experience with data synchronization tools (e.g., 1WorldSync), PIM systems, or catalog management is a plus
Exposure to supply chain, logistics, or retail operations is a plus
