Product Master Data Specialist

Wayne, PA (Suburban Philadelphia) | Hybrid/Onsite

Contract to Hire

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Product Master Data Specialist to join their growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, maintaining accuracy across multiple systems, and collaborating with clients and cross-functional teams. The Product Master Data Specialist will play a key role in managing product information, item setup, data synchronization, and retail partner publications while helping drive process improvements and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain master price lists and product specification data.

  • Coordinate new item setup within product information management systems.

  • Publish and maintain product master data across internal and external platforms.

  • Ensure accuracy of product information and synchronization between systems.

  • Partner with clients to maintain complete and accurate product catalogs.

  • Monitor and resolve data discrepancies while driving process improvements.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on product data management processes and publication requirements.

  • Collaborate with supply chain, sales, e-commerce, IT, and client teams to support business initiatives.

  • Support operational updates including item catalog maintenance and EDI-related activities.

  • Build strong client relationships and provide ongoing support for product data needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • 1-2 years of experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), product data, catalog management, or related fields preferred.

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and passion for data accuracy.

  • Experience with data synchronization tools, including 1WorldSync, is a plus.

  • Product Information Management (PIM) or catalog management experience preferred.

  • Supply chain, logistics, or master data experience is highly desirable.

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Self-starter with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
