Product Marketing Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for a Product Marketing Specialist to support product marketing activities for our technology products and solutions. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role ideal for someone early in their career who enjoys working at the intersection of technology, product, sales, and marketing.

The person will help develop and maintain product-related marketing materials, coordinate trade show and industry event activities, and work closely with Product, Sales, and Engineering teams to translate technical information into clear, customer-facing content.

A strong candidate does not need to be an engineer, but should be comfortable learning technical products, understanding product specifications and features, and communicating them clearly to different audiences.

Key Responsibilities

Product Marketing Materials

• Support the creation and maintenance of product datasheets, brochures, solution briefs, presentations, and other customer-facing materials.
• Work with Product and Engineering teams to collect and validate product specifications, features, and technical information.
• Translate technical information into clear, concise, customer-friendly messaging.
• Maintain consistency and accuracy across product marketing materials.
• Support updates to product presentations, application materials, website content, and sales enablement materials.
• Help develop marketing content for new product features, releases, applications, and customer use cases.

Trade Shows & Industry Events

• Coordinate trade show registration, sponsorships, exhibitor requirements, deadlines, and event logistics.
• Work with internal teams on booth materials, product displays, demos, brochures, signage, and promotional materials.
• Track event schedules, deliverables, shipping requirements, and other logistics.
• Support preparation of presentations and product materials for conferences, customer events, and industry meetings.
• Help maintain an annual calendar of relevant trade shows and industry events.

Sales & Product Support

• Work closely with Product, Sales, Business Development, and Engineering to support customer-facing activities.
• Prepare and organize product materials for customer meetings, demonstrations, partner discussions, and industry events.
• Help maintain a centralized library of the latest approved product marketing materials.
• Assist with competitive research, market research, and collection of customer and industry information as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Engineering, Computer Science, or another technical/STEM-related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in marketing, product marketing, technical marketing, sales enablement, or a related role. Relevant internships or project experience may also be considered.
• Comfortable working with technical products and product specifications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to turn technical information into clear, professional customer-facing content.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly when managing event deadlines and product documentation.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint and other common business productivity tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Product, Engineering, Sales, and other cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated and comfortable managing multiple small projects and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with B2B technology, hardware/software products, IoT, AI, sensors, transportation technology, or other technical products.
• Experience creating product datasheets, brochures, presentations, or other technical marketing materials.
• Experience supporting trade shows, conferences, or industry events.
• Basic understanding of product positioning, customer use cases, and competitive analysis.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar design tools is a plus, but not required.

This role is a good fit for an early-career marketer who wants to build experience in product marketing and gradually take on more responsibility in product positioning, messaging, launches, competitive analysis, and go-to-market activities.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary range: $70,000 – $100,000 per year

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, annual base salary for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Seyond. We also offer an annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for equity (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
