    Purpose of this Position:


    The Product Marketing Manager is the primary marketing resource for one or more of McLeod’s Product Development groups and Sales teams. The most critical outcomes for this person’s work: To develop, implement and execute tactical marketing programs that promote McLeod Software products and services, and generate incremental revenue opportunities for the Sales teams.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


    • Serve as a single point of contact, Imbedded resource, and liaison to the Product
    • Development and Sales teams for the Marketing department.
    • Implement established New Product Introduction (NPI) processes.
    • Work with Product Development, Sales, and Operations teams to provide all deliverables for product-focused marketing materials.
    • Coordinate with content production (e.g., art, graphics, video), internal assets, and external agencies to produce content for marketing programs.
    • Guide the creation of topics and content and recruit and coach participants for McLeod videos and podcasts.
    • Develop, implement, and execute marketing programs, both individually and in the direction of the VP, Marketing, for Product Development and Sales teams in relevant communication channels.
    • Perform marketing program monitoring and post-program reporting/
    • Participate in Company-led events with limited oversight.
    • Work with the VP, Marketing, and other company Executive Leadership, on examining and analyzing internal and external data sources for opportunities to create marketing programs that deliver more qualified leads.
    • Actively participate in the development and execution of the annual marketing plan.
    • Support and assist departmental management with related administrative tasks.
    • Review and update, as appropriate, website content and copy for assigned Product Development and Sales teams with limited oversight.
    • Create and suggest content for social media posts with limited oversight.

    Qualifications:

    Education/Experience:


    • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of product-focused marketing experience, required; or
    • High school diploma or equivalent with 6+ years of product-focused marketing experience, required.
    • Up to 2 years of the required experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis with McLeod product experience (e.g., LoadMaster, PowerBroker, DocumentPower, FlowLogix, etc.).
    • Intermediate proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite is required.
    • Experience using customer relationship management (CRM) or marketing analytics platforms is preferred, such as Salesforce, NetSuite, HubSpot, or Google Analytics.
    • Experience collaborating cross-functionally across multiple business units is required.
    • Experience managing product-focused communications and supporting customer adoption initiatives is a plus.
    • Experience within the trucking and transportation industry is highly preferred.
