    Job Description:

    We are seeking a Lighting Mechanical Engineer. The ideal candidate will oversee product design, manage engineering changes, coordinate production, and drive continuous improvement.

    - Lighting Product Manufacturing : maintain manufacturing design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and technical files. Create CAD drawings and cut sheets for projects as requested by sales team
    - Engineering Change Management: manage engineering changes for existing products, ensuring proper documentation, implementation, and communication across teams
    - Component Selection & Procurement Support: collaborate with procurement to select appropriate components based on BOM specifications, quality standards, and cost considerations
    - Work Order/Production Oversight : generate work orders for new production runs and component parts. Support manufacturing operations by providing technical guidance, troubleshooting process issues, and ensure products are constructed according to drawing and BOM specifications
    - Process Optimization: work with production and maintenance teams to develop strategies that improve manufacturing performance
    - Quality and Compliance : partner with QA to develop testing procedures, verify product compliance with industry standard s, and maintain consistent quality
    - Documentation + Record Keeping: maintain accurate manufacturing records, including process flows, BOM revisions and instructions
    - Supplier & Vendor Coordination: engage with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of components and resolve supply issues




    Job Requirements:

    -Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting/Design, Industrial Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
    -Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar.
    -Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
    -Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or fabrication preferred.
    -Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools.
    -Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
    -Ability to work both independently and within a team environment

    Hours: 7 a.m. - 4 p.m.
