Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Product Manager for a Contract with a client in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate is responsible for driving the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of security engineering initiatives while partnering with technical and business stakeholders to enhance security capabilities.

Rate Range: $75/hour to $95/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Product Manager Job Responsibilities include:

  • Define, prioritize, and manage the product backlog for security engineering initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and cybersecurity strategies.

  • Gather and translate technical, regulatory, and stakeholder requirements into product roadmaps, user stories, and actionable delivery plans.

  • Partner with security engineering, DevOps, architecture, and business teams to drive the delivery of cloud security, IAM, security automation, and risk management solutions.

  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps that improve operational efficiency, strengthen security controls, and reduce organizational risk.

  • Manage stakeholder communications, provide roadmap transparency, and ensure alignment across technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Measure product outcomes, analyze feedback and performance metrics, and drive continuous improvement of security processes, services, and technologies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience, including 4+ years working with Security Engineering teams.

  • Strong expertise in Security Engineering domains including IAM, Cloud Security, Security Operations, DevSecOps, Zero Trust, Vulnerability Management, and Security Architecture.

  • Proven experience managing product backlogs, defining security product roadmaps, gathering requirements, and translating regulatory and business needs into actionable product solutions within Agile environments.

Pay Details: $75.00 to $95.00 per hour
