Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Manager / Product Owner with a strong background in SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing product lifecycles, collaborating with cross functional teams, and delivering high quality products that meet customer needs. This role is critical in driving product vision, strategy, and execution in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Define and communicate the product vision and strategy in alignment with business goals.
- Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders, development teams, and customers to ensure product requirements are clearly understood and met.
- Utilize SAFe principles to prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring that the most valuable features are delivered first.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product decisions and identify opportunities for innovation.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, to ensure effective team collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Monitor product performance and gather user feedback to drive iterative improvements and enhancements.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer support teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing customer satisfaction.
- Mentor and guide junior product team members in best practices and SAFe methodologies.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong knowledge and experience as a SAFe Product Owner or Product Manager.
- Proven experience in Agile product management and familiarity with Agile tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with a data driven approach to decision making.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a specific industry relevant to our products (e.g., technology, healthcare, finance).
- Familiarity with UX/UI principles and user centered design methodologies.
- Knowledge of additional Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and their application in product management.
- Experience with product analytics tools and techniques.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- 10-15 years of experience in product management or product ownership, with a focus on Agile methodologies.
- SAFe certification (SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager) is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products throughout their lifecycle.
