    Product Manager

    1. General Mission

    The IDGS Product Manager is responsible for defining and executing the segment's product strategy across all stages of the product lifecycle, from portfolio assessment and roadmap definition to development, launch, optimization, and end-of-life. Success in this role is measured by portfolio growth, market share gains, margin performance, and the delivery of products that meet clearly defined customer and segment needs.

    This role serves as the strategic link between market requirements and internal execution, ensuring that Engineering, Operations, Marketing, Sales, and Technical Services are aligned with long-term segment objectives.

    2. Authority

    Reports to: Manager, Product Management
    Functional authority toward: PCR process (CI Manager)
    Main collaboration with: Sales, Technical Services, Engineering, Operations, Marketing Communications

    3. Scope of the Position

    The IDGS Product Manager owns and drives the strategic direction, health, and evolution of the IDGS product portfolio across the U.S., Canada, and Latin America. This role exists to ensure the portfolio remains competitive, differentiated, technically aligned with market needs, and positioned for sustainable growth.

    Acting as the business owner of the portfolio, the IDGS Product Manager is accountable for lifecycle performance, roadmap execution, and the development of next-generation solutions that strengthen market position and support long-term growth.

    4. Key Responsibilities

    Portfolio Strategy and Ownership

    • Define and maintain the IDGS product portfolio strategy in alignment with corporate growth priorities

    • Establish and continuously refine multi-year product roadmaps

    • Evaluate portfolio performance and recommend investments, enhancements, repositioning, or end-of-life decisions

    • Identify white space opportunities and prioritize development initiatives based on market attractiveness and strategic fit

    Market and Competitive Intelligence

    • Lead segmentation analysis to identify target verticals, customer profiles, and growth opportunities

    • Monitor the competitive landscape, pricing dynamics, and technology trends

    • Translate market insights into actionable product strategies and development priorities

    Product Development Leadership

    • Own product requirements definition and ensure alignment between market needs and engineering execution

    • Drive cross-functional product development efforts from concept through commercialization

    • Lead business case development, including ROI analysis, cost targets, and positioning strategy

    • Ensure solutions meet performance, regulatory, and customer usability expectations

    Lifecycle Management and Portfolio Maintenance

    • Oversee ongoing product performance, including pricing strategy, cost optimization, and feature evolution

    • Coordinate product updates, revisions, certifications, and sustainment engineering priorities

    • Maintain portfolio relevance through continuous improvement initiatives

    Go-to-Market Enablement

    • Partner with Sales and Marketing to ensure effective positioning, messaging, and launch execution

    • Equip commercial teams with the tools, training, and market insights needed to succeed in target markets

    • Evaluate launch effectiveness and adjust strategies based on field feedback and performance metrics

    Cross-Functional Leadership

    • Act as the portfolio's internal champion by aligning stakeholders around strategic priorities

    • Provide direction to Engineering, Operations, and Marketing Communications teams to ensure cohesive execution

    • Facilitate decision-making by balancing technical feasibility, business value, and customer impact

    5. Qualifications and Competencies

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field required; MBA or technical graduate degree preferred

    • Demonstrated experience managing technical product portfolios or product lines

    • Strong strategic thinking and analytical decision-making skills

    • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives

    • Experience working with technical teams and commercial organizations in both local and global environments

    • Advanced proficiency with business tools and data analysis platforms, including Microsoft Office Suite, Figma, Confluence, Jira, Wrike, and Miro
