Job Title: Product Manager-Payments Domain
Location: Charlotte Or NYC (4 Days WFO at Client Location)

Responsibilities)

Experience as Product Manager / Product Owner/ Corporate Card Journey for a large scale, complex and time-sensitive project in Cards and Payment, with Banking Knowledge. American Express experience is a plus

Key requirements

Highly experienced professional with a strong background in cards , encompassing the card lifecycle and the corporate card journey for Banks and FinTech s

Knowledge of accounts receivables, payments and Banking concepts is required, as the project is in this domain

Define product vision, roadmap, and strategy for payment solutions aligned with client objectives

Conduct in-depth data analytics to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions

Familiarity with merchant acquiring, POS systems, and payment gateways .

Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and security requirements in payment systems

Knowledge of payment networks (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay, AmEx), payment processors, and issuing/acquiring models.

End-to-End Product management support across workstreams, handling dependencies, prioritization and changes

Exposure to emerging payments (tokenization, contactless, wallets, real-time payments, BNPL).

Hands-on experience with card lifecycle management: issuance, authorization, clearing, settlement, dispute management, and chargebacks

Familiarity with banking regulations & compliance impacting payments (PCI-DSS, AML, KYC, interchange, scheme rules).

Exposure to digital banking platforms, core banking integration, and merchant acquiring system

Must be excellent communicator and has track record of working with senior stakeholders.

Must have experience managing large programs for Banks and FIs

Plan and execute PI ceremonies and should be able to articulate Capabilities/Features/User stories

Working knowledge of card processing platforms (e.g., FIS, Fiserv, TSYS, Worldline, Marqeta, M2P, etc.).

Mandatory skills

A strong background in cards, encompassing the card lifecycle and the corporate card journey specifically within banking and fintech sectors, is required

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business, technology, operations) to deliver innovative payment products.

Manage end-to-end product lifecycle: ideation, requirements gathering, prioritization, and execution.

the candidate must have a track record of successfully delivering reporting capabilities, dashboards, and data plumbing solutions.

Hands-on experience with data reporting tools is a plus

A working knowledge of Rally, Jira, SAFe Agile methodologies, software development lifecycles, release planning and migration processes, and testing practices is also required.

Excellent PowerPoint skills and ability to create a compelling presentation.

Desired/ Secondary skills

MBA or equivalent degree in Business/Finance/Technology

6 10 years of experience in Product Management , preferably in Payments or Banking domain .

Strong understanding of payment systems (cards, UPI, wallets, cross-border payments, ISO 20022, etc.).

Strong understanding of banking products, services, and regulatory requirements.

Proficient in data analytics and comfortable using data to drive product decisions.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
