We are seeking a Product Manager to lead our intermodal TOS solutions-bridging container terminal operations with rail and inland logistics.

    This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves to get the job done. You will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch, connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development for intermodal workflows within the Kaleris ecosystem.

    Our team works closely with engineers, designers, and marketers to design and develop technologies that improve cargo management across the supply chain. We guide products throughout the execution cycle-analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring solutions to our users.

    About the Role

    As a Product Manager - Intermodal TOS, you will be responsible for designing and evolving solutions that optimize the container management at intermodal/ inland rail facilities, with a strong emphasis on rail automation technologies You will own the product vision for intermodal functionality within N4, identify opportunities to extend integration capabilities, gather requirements, work with engineering to develop solutions, and validate new features.

    A key focus will be managing the user experience for terminal operators, rail planners, and dispatchers who depend on seamless intermodal workflows - and defining how automation transforms these roles.. You will collaborate with product teams across TOS and Rail to define and manage the Kaleris intermodal product suite.

    This role requires significant engagement with customers and Kaleris field operations (Sales and Services) to understand market needs, industry demands, and customer feedback.

    Responsibilities

    Own the product roadmap for intermodal functionality within N4 and related TOS products

    Gain deep understanding of customer operations at a intermodal facility; identify product gaps and generate ideas that grow market share and improve customer experience

    Help define the automation strategy for rail operations including automated rail-mounted gantry cranes (ARMGs), automated stacking cranes, and other rail yard equipment

    Establish shared vision across the company by building consensus on priorities leading to product execution

    Be the primary product owner for user interfaces used by dispatchers, planners, clerks, and equipment operators in intermodal workflows

    Drive product development with world-class engineers and designers

    Integrate usability studies, research, and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction

    Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of intermodal products

    Create methodology to help partners integrate with Kaleris in a standardized way-reducing risk, effort, time, and resources

    Understand Kaleris's strategic and competitive position; deliver products recognized as best in the industry

    Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm

    Required Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field

    3+ years of hands-on experience working in container terminal operations (yard planning, vessel planning, rail operations, gate operations, or equipment dispatch)

    OR 3+ years implementing or supporting Terminal Operating Systems at container terminals

    Strong understanding of container terminal workflows including vessel operations, yard management, rail loading/unloading, and gate processes

    Direct experience with intermodal handoffs between marine terminals and rail/truck operations

    Familiarity with real-time optimization and job dispatching in automated environments

    Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills; ability to structure complicated issues and find creative solutions

    Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to convey ideas clearly to technical and non-technical audiences

    Passion for making the complex simple and creating exceptional products that end-users can implement and use effectively

    Preferred Qualifications

    MBA or Master's degree

    5+ years of product management experience building software solutions

    Proven track record launching 1+ new products with measurable results

    Experience with N4, SPARCS, or other major Terminal Operating Systems

    Working knowledge of rail operations within a terminal environment (rail scheduling, rail yard inventory, train loading/discharge)

    Familiarity with terminal equipment operations (RTGs, RMGs, reach stackers, terminal tractors), manned and/or automated

    Understanding of EDI messaging standards used in terminal-rail communication

    Success as a Product Owner in an Agile/Scrum development process

    Experience with integration patterns (APIs, EDI, equipment automation interfaces)

    Experience in supply chain software products and/or the rail freight industry

    Willingness to travel up to 20%
