    Description

Join Amazon"s Inbound Planning and Execution (IPEX) team, part of the Global Logistics organization, as a Senior Product Manager on our Strategic Carrier Partnership product line. This is the platform through which Amazon works with its transportation partners, both prepaid and collect, to keep the inbound network healthy, integrate carriers more deeply into how Amazon operates, and respond to supply chain risk in real time while lowering cost to serve. You"ll own the strategy for that platform and the experience carriers have working with Amazon, defining where the partnership goes over the next several years. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution to set the vision and deliver the products that get us there.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Own product strategy and the multi-year roadmap for the Strategic Carrier Partnership product line
    • Define the customer problem space and set product direction
    • Shape how the platform leverages prepaid and collect transportation partners to optimize network health, integrate with Amazon, and mitigate supply chain risk while lowering cost to serve
    • Drive cross-functional initiatives with engineering, operations, and analytics teams
    • Own prioritization decisions across the portfolio with data-grounded recommendations
    • Define and track success metrics to measure product impact and inform decision-making
    • Build business cases to support product initiatives and feature prioritization
    • Represent the product line to senior leaders and partner teams

    A day in the life

You will start your day reviewing product metrics and customer feedback to identify what needs attention. From there, you might lead a roadmap prioritization discussion with engineering partners, review design prototypes, or write a product requirements document for an upcoming feature. Afternoons could include a cross-functional sync to unblock dependencies, a deep-dive into A/B test results, or a working session with stakeholders to align on go-to-market plans. You will regularly interact with customers to understand their needs firsthand and bring those insights back to your team.

    About the team

Our team is focused on building products that make a meaningful difference for customers at Amazon scale. We operate in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where every team member has the opportunity to shape product direction and see their ideas come to life. We value curiosity, clear thinking, and a willingness to experiment. As we look ahead, we are investing in new capabilities and expanding our reach, and this role will play a central part in defining what comes next. If you want to work alongside thoughtful, motivated builders who care deeply about the customer experience, this is the team for you.

    About Company

At Amazon, we don’t wait for the next big idea to present itself. We envision the shape of impossible things and then we boldly make them reality. So far, this mindset has helped us achieve some incredible things. Let’s build new systems, challenge the status quo, and design the world we want to live in. We believe the work you do here will be the best work of your life.

Wherever you are in your career exploration, Amazon likely has an opportunity for you. Our research scientists and engineers shape the future of natural language understanding with Alexa. Fulfillment center associates around the globe send customer orders from our warehouses to doorsteps. Product managers set feature requirements, strategy, and marketing messages for brand new customer experiences. And as we grow, we’ll add jobs that haven’t been invented yet.

    It’s Always Day 1
At Amazon, it’s always “Day 1.” Now, what does this mean and why does it matter? It means that our approach remains the same as it was on Amazon’s very first day – to make smart, fast decisions, stay nimble, invent, and stay focused on delighting our customers. In our 2016 shareholder letter, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos shared his thoughts on how to keep up a Day 1 company mindset. “Staying in Day 1 requires you to experiment patiently, accept failures, plant seeds, protect saplings, and double down when you see customer delight,” he wrote. “A customer-obsessed culture best creates the conditions where all of that can happen.” You can read the full letter here

    Our Leadership Principles
Our Leadership Principles help us keep a Day 1 mentality. They aren’t just a pretty inspirational wall hanging. Amazonians use them, every day, whether they’re discussing ideas for new projects, deciding on the best solution for a customer’s problem, or interviewing candidates.
