    Description

    In accordance with Washington state law, we are highlighting our comprehensive benefits package, which is available to all eligible US based employees.

    • Paid Time Off: 20 days of vacation per year, accruing at a rate of 6.15 hours per pay period for the first five years of employment
    • Sick Time: 40 hours/year (increased to 69 hours/year for Seattle) including 5 discretionary sick days per instance
    • Maternity Leave (Short-Term Disability + Baby Bonding): 28-30 weeks
    • Baby Bonding Leave: 18 weeks

    Minimum qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
    • 3 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
    • 1 year of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).
    • Experience in Cloud storage and the overall public cloud ecosystem including customer requirements, market trends, competitive positioning.

    Preferred qualifications:

    • Master's degree in a Technology or Business related field.
    • 2 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting).
    • 2 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership.
    • 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
    • 1 year of experience in software development or engineering.
    • Knowledge of, or continued interest in building accessibility best practices, and experience/curiosity for incorporating accessibility into product development methodologies.

    The Storage team is a critical part of Google Infrastructure as well as GCP. It is responsible for providing core Storage products in Cloud like Cloud Storage, File Solutions, Backup and Disaster Recovery, Storage Management and Data Transfer Solutions. This team is also responsible for the Storage infrastructure that is the foundation for all of Google including products like Google Search, Ads, YouTube, Photos, Workspace,

    Responsibilities

    • Support PRDs by collaborating with partner teams (e.g., engineers, PgMs, UX) during product design and development to implement the requirements. 
    • Define product roadmaps by operationalizing defined strategy.
    • Articulate defined product goal in a way that captures attention and compels others to drive action despite obstacles and competing priorities. 
    • Validate the market size and opportunity (e.g., user-based, strategic opportunity, revenue). Identify opportunities in the market landscape. 
    • Facilitate launches, maintenance, and retirement in collaboration with other cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
