The Content & Client Platforms Pod is responsible for the foundational infrastructure and capabilities that every customer-facing at Wayfair team relies on to deliver innovative and exciting experiences. The Experimentation Platform Team enables all Wayfair teams to learn faster by making experimentation simple, fast, and reliable.. The team owns the systems that power experimentation end-to-end, from hypothesis management and experiment configuration to traffic allocation, measurement, statistical analysis, and rollout. We are seeking a Product Manager to lead the evolution of experimentation into an AI-powered experimentation operating system, dramatically reducing the cost and complexity of testing so teams can make high quality product decisions faster, driving product-led growth through improvements to our customer experience and continuously improve the customer experience at scale.
What You’ll Do:
Lead the Experimentation Platform squad, owning the strategy, roadmap, and outcomes for experimentation at Wayfair.
Partner closely with product, engineering, data & machine learning science, and business teams to understand how they experiment today and systematically remove friction from the experimentation lifecycle.
Drive a culture of rapid, rigorous experimentation by making it easier for teams to turn ideas into hypotheses, launch tests, measure impact, and confidently act on results.
Identify opportunities to expand experimentation across Wayfair that enable teams to launch experiments with less engineering effort.
Lead the evolution toward an agentic experimentation, applying AI to hypothesis generation, variant creation, analysis, and organizational learning to dramatically increase the speed and scale of experimentation.
We Are a Match Because You Have:
5+ years experience working in product management.
Value Optimization at Scale. You possess the necessary product management experience to drive consistent value and optimization for widely adopted, mature platform products, ensuring they continue to scale effectively across new teams and use cases.
Deep user empathy. You genuinely enjoy working alongside engineers, analysts, data scientists, Product Managers, and business stakeholders to understand their workflows, and diagnosing bottlenecks in their day-to-day experience.
Proven Success in Adoption. You are skilled at evangelizing new platform capabilities and driving their successful adoption, ensuring the platform delivers maximum business value despite initial resistance.
Sufficient Technical & Analytical Acumen. You possess enough technical and analytical depth to understand experimentation methodologies, statistical concepts, and measurement frameworks. You can effectively partner with Data Science and Analytics teams and facilitate decisions around experiment design, metrics, statistical rigor, and interpretation of results.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
