    Company Overview

    ITW Specialty Films designs, manufactures and markets specialized coated and/or metalized, films for the Consumer Packaging, Financial Card, Medical Specialty Bag and Security Identification markets. The division leverages unique core competencies and technologies in films, foils, laminates, holography and transfers to address customer needs globally.

    Position Summary

    ITW Specialty Films is seeking a Product Manager to lead the growth, strategy and performance of our Financial Card product segment within our global portfolio. This role is ideal for an individual with 3-5 years of product management or related experience who can operate independently, drive strategic initiatives and take ownership of product line performance.

    The Product Manager will partner closely with Sales, R&D, Operations and Marketing to define and execute product strategies, lead new product development initiatives and deliver profitable growth. This individual will play a key role in translating customer and market insights into actionable product plans while managing the product portfolio through its lifecycle.

    Key Responsibilities

    Product Strategy & Portfolio Management

    • Develop and execute product line strategies aligned with business objectives.
    • Own product portfolio management including lifecycle planning, prioritization, expansion and rationalization.
    • Define and refine product value propositions and competitive positioning within the financial card market.
    • Lead strategic initiatives to expand market share, profitability and customer value.
    • Analyze product line performance and recommend actions to improve revenue, margin and growth.

    Market & Customer Insights

    • Analyze market trends, customer needs and competitive dynamics to identify growth opportunities.
    • Gather and translate Voice of Customer (VOC) insights into product strategies and innovation initiatives.
    • Refine market segmentation and targeting strategies.
    • Conduct customer visits and engage in customer discussions to validate needs and opportunities.
    • Convert customer, market and competitive insights into actionable business recommendations and product roadmaps.

    New Product Development

    • Lead new product development initiatives utilizing the ITW Customer-Back Innovation process.
    • Develop business cases, product requirements, validation plans and commercialization strategies.
    • Drive projects through the stage-gate process while partnering with cross functional teams.
    • Ensure successful and timely launch of new products with strong market adoption.

    Go-to-Market & Commercial Execution

    • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new and existing products.
    • Partner with Sales to create product messaging, tools, training materials and launch plans.
    • Support customer presentations and product commercialization initiatives.
    • Drive product adoption and customer engagement.

    Business Performance & Pricing

    • Monitor revenue, margin, market share and profitability performance.
    • Develop and execute pricing strategies.
    • Analyze business performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability and growth.
    • Support annual planning and strategic growth initiatives.

    Cross Functional Leadership

    • Build and influence alignment among Sales, Operations, R&D, Supply Chain and Marketing.
    • Drive accountability and execution across complex initiatives.
    • Support other projects and initiatives as assigned.

    Education & Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related field.
    • 3-5 years of experience in Product Management, Marketing, Product Development, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Experience managing products through the product lifecycle from concept through commercialization.
    • Experience gathering and applying customer and market insights including Voice of Customer (VOC) to drive business decisions.
    • Strong analytical, strategic thinking and business acumen including pricing, profitability and business case development.
    • Demonstrated ability to influence cross functional teams and drive execution.
    • Strong communication, presentation and project management skills.
    • Demonstrated leadership mindset with high initiative and accountability.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
    • Willingness to travel approximately 20% domestically and internationally.

    Preferred

    • Experience in B2B, industrial, manufacturing, specialty materials, or related markets.
    • Experience working in a global, matrixed organization.
    • Familiarity with stage-gate or structured innovation processes.

    In addition, our benefits include paid vacation, sick, holiday and parental leave. Base salary range for this position is $93,000-$110,000. This position is also eligible to participate in the bonus incentive program. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Company considers various factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
