    Position Summary

    GC America is seeking a strategic, analytical, and collaborative Product Manager to support its growing dental product portfolio. This role owns the product management lifecycle across both upstream and downstream activities, with a primary focus on upstream product launch readiness, market opportunity assessment, product positioning, launch planning, and cross-functional execution.

    The Product Manager will partner closely with Sales, Marketing Communications, Education, Operations, Finance, R&D, KOLs, and global stakeholders to translate market insights into launch strategies, sales enablement tools, forecasting inputs, and business plans that support portfolio growth, customer adoption, and long-term commercial success.

    GC America is recruiting for Product Manager opportunities supporting key product portfolios, including Preventative/MI, Restorative, Digital Materials, and future New Product Launch initiatives. Candidates may be considered for various product lines based on experience, industry expertise, and business needs.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    Upstream Product Strategy & Launch Planning

    • Lead upstream product management activities, including market opportunity assessment, customer needs analysis, product positioning, launch readiness, and commercialization planning.
    • Develop product launch strategies, business cases, product requirements, value propositions, and launch plans for assigned product portfolios.
    • Partner with R&D, global product teams, education, regulatory, operations, and commercial stakeholders to align product launch needs, timelines, risks, and success measures.
    • Define launch objectives, KPIs, strategic priorities, and growth initiatives to support product adoption and portfolio performance.

    Downstream Product & Go-to-Market Execution

    • Execute downstream product management activities, including go-to-market planning, promotional support, field readiness, campaign input, and lifecycle management.
    • Collaborate with Marketing Communications to support messaging, brand awareness, lead generation, digital campaigns, and product education initiatives.
    • Partner with Sales and Education teams to support customer acquisition, key account growth, product adoption, and sales effectiveness.
    • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, customer feedback, and product performance to identify growth opportunities and corrective actions.

    Forecasting, Inventory & Business Performance

    • Develop and maintain product-level sales forecasts, launch forecasts, demand assumptions, and inventory planning inputs in partnership with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain.
    • Analyze sales performance, market data, CRM insights, customer adoption, and product profitability to inform business recommendations.
    • Support budgeting, ROI analysis, SKU rationalization, portfolio lifecycle decisions, and growth planning for assigned product categories.
    • Proactively identify risks related to demand, inventory availability, launch timing, and sales execution, and recommend mitigation plans.

    Sales Enablement, CRM & Commercial Tools

    • Develop and maintain sales enablement tools, including launch playbooks, product training materials, competitive positioning guides, objection handling resources, presentations, sell sheets, and customer-facing tools.
    • Effectively use CRM tools to track opportunities, customer activity, sales initiatives, campaign performance, and field feedback; Salesforce experience is preferred.
    • Translate product strategy into clear field communication, launch training, and actionable tools that help Sales teams engage customers and accelerate adoption.
    • Partner with Sales leadership to identify enablement gaps and continuously improve tools, messaging, and field readiness.

    KOL, Customer & Stakeholder Communications

    • Build and maintain effective communications with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), customers, clinicians, educators, and internal stakeholders to gather insights and support product strategy.
    • Collaborate with education and KOL teams to support advisory boards, product evaluations, educational programs, speaker preparation, and relationship development.
    • Represent the voice of customer and voice of field in product planning, launch readiness, messaging, training, and portfolio optimization activities.

    AI, Analytics & Strategic Planning

    • Use AI-enabled tools and digital platforms to improve research, analysis, content development, sales enablement, planning, productivity, and decision support.
    • Apply structured strategic planning methods to define market priorities, launch roadmaps, competitive responses, growth opportunities, and resource recommendations.
    • Create clear business recommendations, presentations, and decision support materials for cross-functional stakeholders and leadership.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration & Events

    • Operate effectively within a matrix organization while collaborating with local and global stakeholders.
    • Participate in product launch meetings, customer visits, major conferences, educational events, internal trainings, and industry meetings as needed.
    • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    Requirements

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, Dentistry, or related field; MBA preferred.
    • 3-5+ years of product management, product marketing, upstream marketing, commercial marketing, or related business experience.
    • Demonstrated experience supporting product launches, go-to-market initiatives, or commercialization planning.
    • Strong analytical capability, including experience with sales forecasting, inventory planning inputs, business performance analysis, and market data interpretation.
    • Ability to develop sales enablement tools and communicate product strategy clearly to Sales, Education, and customer-facing teams.
    • Effective communication skills with KOLs, customers, cross-functional partners, and leadership stakeholders.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced matrix environment with strong organization, project management, and follow-through.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and AI-enabled productivity or analysis tools.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Dental industry, healthcare, medical device, clinical, or professional products experience preferred.
    • Experience with CRM tools; Salesforce experience preferred.
    • Experience working with KOLs, advisory boards, customer education, field sales, and/or sales training teams.
    • Knowledge of restorative, preventative, digital materials, or other dental product categories preferred.
    • Experience analyzing CRM data, market data, and sales trends to develop strategic business recommendations.
    • Comfort using AI tools to support research, content development, analysis, workflow efficiency, and sales enablement deliverables.
