Description

Amphenol PCD is seeking a Product Group Manager to lead the commercial strategy and growth of assigned aerospace and defense interconnect product lines, including electrical connectors and cable assembly solutions. This is a B2B manufacturing product management role focused on physical, engineered products.

This role is ideal for a commercially minded product leader who enjoys identifying market opportunities, driving business results, influencing cross-functional teams, and turning strategy into action.

As a key leader within the organization, you will own commercial and product strategy, champion new opportunities, and help shape the future direction of critical product lines supporting the aerospace and defense industry. Success in this role requires strong business acumen, initiative, sound decision-making, and the ability to influence others across engineering, operations, sales, and leadership.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead commercial and product strategy for assigned product groups, driving revenue growth, pricing strategy, profitability, and market expansion
  • Champion product roadmaps and strategic initiatives in partnership with engineering, operations, sales, and leadership teams
  • Drive new product introduction (NPI) activities from concept through launch with a strong focus on execution and business results
  • Identify market opportunities through Voice of Customer (VOC) activities, competitive analysis, industry trends, and direct customer engagement
  • Influence and work alongside cross-functional teams to achieve monthly and annual business objectives
  • Analyze market, sales, point-of-sale (POS), and inventory data to develop actionable product and business strategies
  • Lead proposal and RFP efforts, ensuring strong commercial positioning and timely execution
  • Develop sales tools, presentations, training materials, and product messaging that support customer engagement and business growth
  • Identify and resolve business challenges, operational obstacles, and market risks
  • Support trade shows, customer meetings, and strategic business development initiatives
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, product line management, technical sales, business development, or a related commercial role supporting physical/engineered products within a B2B manufacturing environment
  • Experience within aerospace & defense, electronics, electrical components, electromechanical products, or a related technical manufacturing industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to translate market and customer needs into product and commercial strategies
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence, motivate, and gain buy-in across functions and levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and drive cross-functional initiatives forward
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ability to travel up to 35%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with interconnect products, connectors, cable assemblies, electronic components, or related electromechanical technologies
  • Experience within the aerospace and defense market
  • Experience with product lifecycle management, pricing, forecasting, market analysis, or new product introduction
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in a high-mix manufacturing environment

Compensation

The base salary range for this role is $120,000–$150,000 USD, plus bonus. The salary range provided is a good-faith estimate representative of all experience levels. PCD considers several factors when extending an offer, including, but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
