Job Title: Product Development Lab Technician
Location: Irvine, CA
Work Model: Onsite
Hours: M-F 8am-5pm
Compensation: $32.00 - $35.00/hr
Type: Contract, Potential for extension or conversion to permanent

Responsibilities

Conduct experiments and perform a variety of technical procedures in the development of materials for electronics applications.
Work on special PD development projects as guided by supervisors; Strong laboratory and research skills: compliance with all safety regulations, sound lab technique and good record keeping
Gather and analyze data using Albert digital system and provide fast communications to supervisors

Requirements

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in a team or on their own and perform assignments with limited supervision.
Is hands-on and enjoys working with machines and tools, and coming up with new ideas.
Previous experience in a laboratory environment is preferred
Strong problem-solving skills and well organized
Excellent verbal and written communication
Strong computer skills: MS office
Self-Starter; collaborative team player with an entrepreneurial spirit and can-do attitude
Project management skills: strong work ethic and ability to meet work deadlines
Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Sciences and Engineering; Polymer Materials
