Job Overview
We are seeking an Associate R&D Engineer to support the research, design, testing, and development of medical devices. The role will focus on pre-operative planning, product development, testing, process improvement, and collaboration with engineering and clinical teams.
Key Responsibilities
Support research, design, testing, and development of medical devices.
Perform pre-operative planning for knee, hip, and shoulder replacement procedures.
Work directly with sales representatives and orthopedic surgeons.
Collaborate with Pre-operative Planning and Robotics teams.
Identify and recommend improvements to design, manufacturing, and evaluation processes.
Participate in project and departmental meetings.
Support new product development, product enhancements, and product line extensions.
Help develop product requirements and technical specifications.
Analyze new products, applications, and process improvements.
Work with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
0 2 years of relevant experience.
Experience with 3D CAD and programming software.
Knowledge of UG NX or SolidWorks is preferred.
Basic programming experience with Python is preferred.
Strong computer and 3D modeling skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of knee, hip, or shoulder replacement is preferred.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
