    Description

    About the role

This role will have cross functional impact, shaping the story we share with customers and influencing product development through the user experience. As a core member of our team, you will report to our EVP of Product and Go to Market, while working closely with the CEO to shape high-stakes slide decks that win over partners and customers. Beyond the product, you own the company’s "narrative assets"—from the corporate website to product mockups and demos, having a direct impact on Skipify’s success.

    Key Responsibilities

    Strategic Narrative & Sales Enablement

    • Product Storytelling: Create compelling, visual slide decks that articulate the product’s value proposition for executive-level meetings, partners, and customers.
    • Functional Demos: Build and maintain high-fidelity demos that showcase "the future of the product" to external stakeholders and early adopters.
    • Executive Collaboration: Support the CEO and Executive Team in visualizing new features and business opportunities before they hit the development queue.

    Brand & Digital Presence

    • Website Ownership: Manage the company website, ensuring it is geared toward our target audience and remains updated with our latest product evolution.
    • Cohesive Brand Identity: Maintain visual and messaging consistency across the product interface, the marketing site, and all external partner-facing collateral.

    UX Design & Engineering Partnership

    • Experience Architecture: Work closely with the Product Lead to map out user journeys, wireframes, and high-level UX flows that align with our strategic goals.
    • Technical Collaboration: Partner with the Lead Engineer to design functionality that is technically feasible, scalable, and high-performing.
    • Figma Prototyping: Own the Figma workspace, creating pixel-perfect mockups and interactive demos that serve as the "blueprints" for the engineering team.
    • Design-to-Dev Handoff: Ensure a seamless transition from design to code by providing clear specifications, assets, and real-time support during the build phase.

    Who You Are

    • The Bridge: You can speak "Business" with the CEO, "Strategy" with the Product Lead, and "Technical Specs" with the Lead Engineer.
    • Visual Communicator: You believe a great slide deck or a clean mockup is a powerful sales tool, not just a design task.
    • Startup-Minded: You thrive in ambiguity and are comfortable pivoting from a high-level UX workshop to updating a landing page in the same afternoon.
    • Master of Figma: You don't just make things look pretty; you build organized, scalable component libraries and prototypes that feel like real software.
    • 5-8 years experience in design, ideally working on fintech products and digital platforms with deep knowledge of the payments industry, including competitive landscape, market trends, and evolving merchant needs
    • Exceptional communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
    • Ability to work from our New York office 2-3 days per week

    • You take pride in what you do and who you do it with.
    • You go the extra mile and get things done the right way, with a collaborative spirit that brings others along with you to win together.
    • You bring your A-game - striving to do your best work; the kind that raises the bar and up-levels those around you.
