Job Summary:
Looking for a UX / Product Designer to design in-app experiences focused on user engagement, onboarding, contextual guidance, and feature discovery for professional creative products. The designer will work across complex, cross-functional projects and create scalable experiences for a broad range of users, from emerging creators to experienced professionals.

The role requires strong UX and visual design skills, proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud, experience with design systems, accessibility, growth/engagement concepts, and hands-on use of AI tools for design and prototyping. The designer will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Growth, Research, and Marketing teams and remain involved through implementation to ensure a high-quality final experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design in-app experiences focused on engagement, onboarding, contextual guidance, and feature discovery.
• Create flexible, scalable design systems and experiences across different surfaces and user types.
• Apply design system documentation and Figma best practices to maintain consistency and support engineering collaboration.
• Think holistically across the user journey, identifying experience gaps and opportunities.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Growth, Research, and Marketing teams to align design with measurable outcomes.
• Develop and present clear, well-synthesized design proposals to drive cross-functional alignment.
• Stay hands-on throughout implementation by reviewing builds, identifying design gaps, and maintaining quality standards.
• Ensure designs meet accessibility and inclusive design standards.
• Use qualitative and quantitative insights to inform design decisions.
• Leverage AI tools for prototyping, exploration, and accelerating design workflows.

Must-Have Skills:

• 3–5+ years of UX/Product and Visual Design experience on complex, cross-functional projects.
• Strong UX and visual design capabilities.
• Strong interaction design skills, including typography, hierarchy, motion, and micro-interactions.
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Experience working with design systems and design documentation.
• Experience designing onboarding, contextual guidance, engagement, or feature discovery experiences.
• Understanding of user journeys and ability to identify experience gaps.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools for design, prototyping, and exploration.
• Familiarity with growth and engagement frameworks.
• Ability to use both qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design principles.
• Ability to design for global audiences with awareness of language, cultural, and regional considerations.

Industry Experience:

• Technology / SaaS / Software
• Creative software / Digital products
• Pro video, motion, design, or illustration tools
• Experience designing products for creative professionals, content creators, or digital artists is highly relevant.
• Experience with professional creative workflows and understanding the needs of both emerging and expert creators is preferred.
