Job Title: Product Test Engineer II
Location: Beaverton, OR
Salary Range: $40-45 per hour
Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Product Test Engineer II to join our team at our on-site location in Beaverton, OR. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and performance of our basketball footwear products through rigorous testing and analysis.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a lab/testing environment.
- Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
- Hands-on experience with product/materials testing.
- Experience with statistical analysis of data.
- Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
- Experience with universal testing machines (UTMs) or Instron machines.
- AutoCAD experience.
- 3D printing experience.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Complete standard materials and mechanical tests, review and analyze data, and communicate results to teams.
- Assist more senior engineers on testing related projects and consult and train others in your area of expertise.
- Identify changes in protocols or equipment within the lab to improve accuracy and efficiency.
