Job Title: Art Director for Retail Story Design
Location: Beaverton, OR
Salary Range: $57-60
Introduction
We are seeking an innovative Art Director for Retail Story Design to support and develop consumer-led retail concepts and the evolution of our retail business. This role requires a strategic, collaborative, and creative team leader who will develop impactful and scalable design solutions for immersive retail environments and experiences.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of brand design experience demonstrating creative sophistication in concepts and design/visual communications; includes at least 3 years of management experience.
- Bachelor's/master’s degree in graphic design, architecture, interior design, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Keynote.
- Retail industry experience preferred, including retail environments, concepts, and programs.
- Must have a portfolio for team review.
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with After Effects, Premiere, Miro, Figma, SketchUp, Unreal Engine.
- International experience beneficial.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including meeting facilitation and presentations.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Create, refine, and evolve non-seasonal retail storytelling across the full company stores portfolio.
- Lead projects to realize innovative, original retail displays and digital solutions for retail environments.
- Provide leadership development and design direction to junior-level designers.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to complete multiple projects using design processes and standard methodologies.
