Introduction
We are seeking a talented Apparel Designer to join our team in shaping the future of our Women's & Men's Branded & Signature apparel collections. This role is pivotal in bringing cohesive, performance-driven products to life each season through compelling narrative, material novelty, style & culture, and innovative performance craft.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8 years of relevant work experience in a design environment working with materials, trims, design, and fit
- Expertise in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Familiarity with 3D rendering software such as CLO and Vizcom
- Outstanding ability to apply foundational design skills, including illustrations across analog and digital platforms
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with proven success collaborating across cross-functional teams
- Prior work experience in the industry
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
- Degree in Apparel/Fashion Design or related field
- Experience with Miro
- Compelling portfolio demonstrating understanding of insight-driven design and polished execution of performance & style apparel product
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Apparel Design teammates and cross-functional teams to create future sport/culture designs across Basketball
- Conduct in-depth research on fashion, design, basketball, and sport culture
- Translate trend, consumer insight, and brand vision into compelling products
- Upskill ways of working through programs such as Vizcom/Clo or craft through physical prototyping
