Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Apparel Color Designer to join our team at a leading sportswear company. This role is integral in developing seasonal color design and direction for basketball apparel, covering signature, branded, and licensed products. The ideal candidate will be a versatile creative problem solver with a passion for sports and an ability to thrive under tight deadlines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3-5 years minimum experience in a similar role
- Expertise in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good foundation and knowledge of textiles
- Proficiency in Miro, CLO 3D, and Vizcom
- Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
- Strong presentation skills
- Experience with both footwear and apparel
- Ability to translate consumer insights into compelling stories
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead the Basketball Apparel team in creating unique collections across Men’s and Women’s products on a seasonal basis
- Develop comprehensive storytelling and original content creation across seasonal apparel assortments
- Collaborate with Product Management teams to build engaging, trend-driven narratives
- Partner with Development teams to communicate design intent and assist with schematic creation and prototype workshops
- Manage and design presentation materials and present concepts to teams and leadership
