Product Compliance Specialist

The position participates in product design reviews, identifies and interprets relevant regulations, and provides guidance and training to prevent compliance issues from initial design through production and delivery. Perform internal audits on technical documentation, such as declarations of conformity and material certifications, to keep records current and audit-ready.

Job Summary

This role executes product compliance strategies, policies, and processes to ensure products meet applicable regulatory standards and required certifications are obtained and maintained. The position participates in product design reviews, identifies and interprets relevant regulations, and provides guidance and training to prevent compliance issues from initial design through production and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Ensure product labeling accuracy and consistency by standardizing compliance-related labeling, including warnings, certifications, and language requirements.
• Perform internal audits on technical documentation, such as declarations of conformity and material certifications, to keep records current and audit-ready.
• Coordinate internal and external testing activities and maintain all related documentation.
• Verify that suppliers comply with applicable domestic and international regulatory requirements.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to provide information, clarification, and support on compliance matters.
• Manage customer specification tracking, review, and approval processes.
• Support SAP stabilization and post-go-live activities related to product compliance and documentation.
• Coordinate new customer specifications and related process improvements.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure timely processing of requirements and ongoing regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Experience with SAP systems related to product, quality, or compliance data.
• Background in program coordination, project coordination, or business process management.
• Experience working with customer specifications, quality systems, or manufacturing processes.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Experience in a manufacturing, chemical, life sciences, medical device, or other regulated industry preferred.

• Proficiency in SAP or similar enterprise systems.
• Strong documentation, auditing, and record-keeping skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners.

• Proven experience in a product compliance, quality, or regulatory support role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage technical documentation and audit readiness.
• Experience coordinating testing, supplier compliance, and customer specifications.
• Comfort working within regulated environments and adhering to established procedures.
• Ability to support system-related initiatives, including SAP stabilization and process improvements.
