    Basic Job Functions:

    The role of the Product Buyer is to coordinate, manage, and execute the proper procurement strategies of Kirby Building Systems. These strategies include forecasting and procuring materials, developing and implementing effective processes, and developing vendor relationships to drive financial success for the Division. Specific responsibilities are creating purchase orders and purchasing building and warehouse accessories, coordinating on-time deliveries, reconciling invoice and billing discrepancies, and processing end-of-month input and reconciliation, and supporting the team in purchasing related aspects. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Purchasing or Inventory Management experience
    • Prior experience using Microsoft Office tools
    • High School Diploma

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Knowledge of metal building components
    • Prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365
    • Prior experience with AI tools and technology
