Christkindlmarkt Dublin is currently seeking Product Booth Staff in Dublin, Ohio to join our collaborative and festive team! The Product Booth Staff provides friendly, efficient customer service while supporting product sales, merchandise presentation, and day-to-day booth operations during the 2026 Christkindlmarkt Dublin season.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner and help create a warm, festive shopping experience consistent with Christkindlmarkt Dublin.
• Assists customers with product selection by answering questions about available products, including their history, cultural significance, and origins, providing accurate product information, and directing customers to additional resources or a supervisor when needed.
• Processes customer purchases using the designated Point of Sale system and follows applicable procedures for card and other approved payment methods.
• Maintains attractive and organized product displays by stocking, arranging, and replenishing merchandise throughout each shift.
• Monitors merchandise and supplies and promptly communicates low stock, product concerns, or other booth needs to the appropriate supervisor or vendor representative.
• Supports opening and closing responsibilities, which may include preparing the booth for business, organizing merchandise, completing basic Point of Sale procedures, and securing products and supplies.
• Maintains a clean, orderly, and welcoming booth area and promptly addresses or reports housekeeping, safety, or operational concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Follow applicable Market, vendor, safety, customer service, and loss-prevention procedures and reports guest concerns, incidents, or unusual activity to the appropriate supervisor.

Requirements:

• Previous retail, customer service, sales, hospitality, or event experience is preferred but not required.
• Seasonal or holiday retail experience is a plus.
• Must be available to work assigned shifts, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays during Market season.
• Ability to learn and use a Point-of-Sale system, accurately complete basic transactions, and follow established payment procedures as applicable.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to assist guests courteously, answer questions about products, including their history, cultural significance, and origins, and work effectively with customers, coworkers, vendors, and supervisors.
• Must be dependable, team-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced seasonal environment.

Physical Demands:

During Market season, the position requires prolonged periods of standing in a stationary position, up to 60% of the time, as well as frequent movement throughout the Market site and product booth area. The individual must frequently move, transport, position, push, pull, and/or otherwise handle merchandise, inventory, supplies, and materials weighing up to 75 pounds. The individual may be required to bend, reach, stoop, squat, and perform repetitive hand and arm movements while stocking, arranging, displaying, packaging, and selling merchandise. The position may require assisting with booth setup and teardown, moving inventory and displays, restocking merchandise, and performing opening and closing responsibilities. The individual must also be able to safely operate or use basic retail, point-of-sale, and booth equipment as required.

Work Environment:

During Market season, the individual frequently works in and around a retail booth and a winter outdoor market environment. The individual may be exposed to cold temperatures, varying weather conditions, wet, icy, or uneven surfaces, moderate to elevated noise levels, and pedestrian traffic. The role may require working around shelving, displays, boxes, merchandise, electrical equipment, and other materials associated with retail booth operations. The individual may frequently work outdoors during setup, operation, special events, and teardown activities. Night and weekend work is required during market season.
