Description & Requirements

Description & Requirements:

Bloomberg's Quote-to-Bill (Q2B) organization supports the systems, processes, and controls that enable Bloomberg to bring products to market, establish commercial relationships, and manage the lifecycle of those relationships at scale.

The Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) team sits at the center of that ecosystem, partnering across Product, Engineering, Sales, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Commercial Execution, and other business functions to ensure products, commercials, workflows, and operational processes work together effectively throughout the Quote-to-Bill lifecycle.

As Bloomberg continues to evolve and scale its product portfolio, our team is focused on reducing risk, strengthening controls, improving operational efficiency and creating a more seamless experience for stakeholders across the organization.

The Role:

We are looking for a Product Analyst to join Bloomberg's Product Lifecycle Management team within the Quote-to-Bill organization.

In this role, you will partner closely with Product Owners and stakeholders across Bloomberg to understand, document, and analyze complex Quote-to-Bill workflows, business processes, and system interactions.

You will help translate business needs into product requirements by evaluating current-state processes, documenting future-state workflows, identifying operational risks and process friction, and supporting the evolution of scalable Quote-to-Bill capabilities.

The role includes hands-on involvement in operational activities such as document management, document processing, product onboarding, ordering workflow setup, and related process changes. These activities provide critical insight into how products, processes, and systems operate in practice and help identify opportunities to strengthen controls, reduce risk, improve operational efficiency and inform future product investments.

As part of PLM's broader mandate, you will also contribute to initiatives that improve contract lifecycle, document management, onboarding, and workflow capabilities across the Quote-to-Bill ecosystem.

We'll Trust You To:

  • Analyze and document end-to-end Quote-to-Bill workflows, business processes, and system interactions.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document business requirements for product enhancements and process improvements.
  • Create and maintain current-state and future-state workflow documentation, process maps, user journeys, and business requirements.
  • Identify workflow friction, operational inefficiencies, process gaps, control weaknesses, and areas of operational risk.
  • Assess the operational impact of new products, product enhancements, and commercial changes by identifying workflow implications, dependencies, risks, and required process updates across the Quote-to-Bill ecosystem.
  • Evaluate the impact of proposed product, commercial, and process changes on upstream and downstream workflows, systems, controls, and stakeholder experiences.
  • Surface recurring workflow, process, and operational challenges that represent broader product, process, or control gaps and partner with Product Owners to evaluate potential solutions.
  • Partner with Product Owners to translate business needs and workflow analysis into user stories, requirements, acceptance criteria, and product recommendations.
  • Analyze operational issues and stakeholder feedback to identify root causes and distinguish tactical issues from broader product or process opportunities.
  • Support hands-on operational activities across the Quote-to-Bill lifecycle, including document management, document processing, product onboarding, ordering workflow setup, and related process changes, using operational insight to identify process friction, control gaps, and opportunities for scalable product and workflow improvements.
  • Support product discovery activities by helping teams understand user needs, business impacts, workflow dependencies, and process constraints.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Sales, and Operations teams to align requirements and support delivery.
  • Participate in testing, validation, and rollout activities to ensure solutions meet business needs and intended outcomes.
  • Use operational data, workflow analysis, and stakeholder insights to support prioritization, roadmap planning, and continuous improvement efforts.

You'll Need To Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in a Product Analysis, Business Analysis, Product Operations, Commercial Operations, Revenue Operations, Contract Operations, or related discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Experience gathering requirements and documenting business processes and workflows.
  • Ability to analyze complex processes and identify inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Experience translating business needs into requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships across business and technology teams.
  • Comfort working in ambiguous environments with evolving priorities and requirements.
  • Curiosity about how products, systems, processes, and operational workflows connect across an organization.

We'd Love To See:

  • Experience documenting workflows, process maps, business requirements, and user journeys.
  • Experience identifying process risks, control gaps, and opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Experience supporting product discovery, backlog management, roadmap planning, or product delivery activities.
  • Experience using operational data, issue trends, and user feedback to inform product decisions.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams across business and technology organizations.
  • Familiarity with enterprise platforms supporting product onboarding, commercial operations, contracting, billing, subscriptions, or related business processes.
