This position is responsible for the product management for the Chemicals product lines and supports budgeted financial performance. This position works to emphasize the profitably of managing the business, developing standardized and controlled processes, and instilling continuous improvement throughout our global organization, through the lifecycle of the product.

  • Acts as key team member for business tactics/projects aligned with the business strategy.
  • Supports the development and execution of AGCCA business policies
  • Provides sales and pricing projections for use in the development of annual budget
  • Coordinates efforts to streamline customer information across multiple departments using SharePoint Online and Dynamics 365.
  • Participates/Supports in strategic growth teams which prioritize and executes growth activities.
  • Provides support to the Americas/Global Sales, Supply Chain, Business Managers, and Technical Teams to accelerate new sales/market development efforts and product developments.
  • Reviews and participates in stock level reviews for key products established by Supply Chain
  • Supports quarterly reviews on global exports including competitors and suppliers
  • Works with Quality Assurance Manager to assure customer complaints get resolved quickly and effectively.
  • Supports business managers and business development managers to ensure product literature and marketing tools for business are effective and up to date.
  • Provides Product line analysis to Business Operations and Business Managers to better understand costs and drivers.
  • Provides sales reports for Commercial team members on monthly & quarterly basis
  • Maintains consistency between Adaptive Insights Workday forecast and Dynamics 365 product inventory set-up
  • Participates in schedule and operations planning meeting
  • Assists in setting priorities for technical service projects and participating in product development process meetings
  • Interfaces with regulatory issues
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in technical or business/marketing discipline is preferred
  • Minimum seven years' experience - fluoropolymer or related industry is preferred. Sales and/or technical experience is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and ERP systems.
  • Flexibility to take calls or participate in meetings off hours to accommodate time zone differences.
  • Limited international & domestic travel is required.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access office machinery, accomplish tasks.
  • Able to travel from one worksite to another.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery including copy machine and computer printer.
  • No adverse environmental conditions expected.
