    Description

    PurposeThe Produce Lead reports directly to the Store Manager and the Perishable Manager. This position is responsible for duties such as but not limiting to maintaining the highest standards of freshness and fullness in the stores produce department. The Produce Lead provides excellent customer service and is the leader in maintaining excellent daily department conditions. This position accomplishes all job duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.Responsibilities

    About You

    Must be 18 years of age or olderHigh School diploma or equivalent preferredProven, efficient retail sales experience; excellent customer service preferred; produce experience preferred but not requiredExcellent teamwork and problem-solving skillsMust be able to read, write and speak in EnglishDemonstrate effective oral and written communication, interpersonal skillsProficiency in basic math skills required, including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, and basic computer skillsMust be dependable and flexible to work scheduled shifts, including a willingness to work in other areas of the store as needed with little or no advance noticeMust adhere to safety standardsMust adhere to a uniform dress code
