Compensation: $25.00–$27.00 per hour – paid weekly
Schedule: Day shift | Monday–Friday | 8am-4:30pm

What You'll Do as a Procurement Specialist:- Create and send purchase orders through the ERP system
- Review material demand, place orders with approved suppliers, and communicate changes as needed
- Research pricing and product availability and negotiate pricing with suppliers
- Maintain positive supplier relationships and assist with identifying, approving, and onboarding new suppliers
- Monitor supplier on-time delivery and defective product information and address supplier-related issues
- Work with Accounting on invoice or pricing discrepancies and communicate with Sales and Production regarding material delays or defects
- Assist with material selection and research related to quoting and other procurement needs
What You Need to Bring to the Procurement Specialist Role:- 2+ years of procurement experience
- Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and research skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience working with ERP systems
- Ability to travel to local suppliers as needed
- Ability to frequently sit for extended periods and regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, with occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- ERP systems experience and professional certifications such as CPM, APICS, or P.E. preferred
