As a Procurement Specialist, you will:Plan, create, and enter company purchase orders via MRP order process and warehousing orders,Manage strong vendor relationships and provide liaison services between internal stakeholders and suppliersFormalize strategic planning and procurement procedures for continuous process improvementResearch and vet ideal vendors and parts/lines; advise cost effectivity and best quality alternatives as necessary Negotiate cost and ensure spending aligns with organizational goalsOwn the inventory process, including stock level/inventory cycle count, vendor pricing and ERP pricing accuracyAssist as needed in shipping and receiving tasks, unloading, staging, etc.
