Procurement Specialist

Responsibilities

Responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials and services for elevator manufacturing. Ensure timely delivery of quality parts at competitive prices, maintain strong supplier relationships, and support supply chain improvements.

• 5 years of experience in sourcing and procurement.
• Identify and onboard suppliers for mechanical, electrical, and structural components.
• Conduct RFQs, RFPs, and competitive bidding for cost-effective sourcing.
• Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Monitor supplier performance using KPIs.
• Convert purchase requisitions into orders using ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.
• Coordinate with logistics for deliveries and customs clearance.
• Address and resolve delivery delays, shortages, and discrepancies.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and collaborate with engineering on material alternatives.
• Participate in new product introduction projects.

Qualifications

Engineering degree preferred, minimum 5 years of relevant experience.

Technical Skills

Manufacturing processes, ERP proficiency, cost analysis, and supplier audits.
