Role & Responsibilities
We are seeking a Procurement Specialist II for a fast-growing prefabricated construction manufacturer which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in purchasing, vendor management, and purchase orders looking to further their career in manufacturing procurement and supply chain.
Manage day-to-day procurement of parts, materials, equipment, and services for manufacturing operations
Solicit quotes, place purchase orders, and manage assigned vendors to ensure on-time delivery
Qualify and onboard suppliers into procurement and accounting systems
Lead mid-level sourcing projects with Procurement, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams
Follow up on shipments and invoicing; escalate supply issues as needed
Essential Qualifications
510 years of Buyer experience with increasing responsibility, including construction materials purchasing
Bachelors degree (4-year) required
Self-starter comfortable owning vendor and sourcing work; must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
Bonus Qualifications
Knowledge of ViewPoint software
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
