Job Details

What you will be doing:

. Leading and developing the plant procurement team and storeroom department end to end
. Owning all external spend for the facility with a focus on best total cost, lowest sourcing risk, and strongest supplier performance
. Managing MRO supplies, contractors, engineering services, local service providers, and third party outsourcing of production processes
. Building and executing strategic and tactical plans that drive cost savings, working capital improvement, and process efficiency
. Running non-commercial events like Kaizen workshops, supplier productivity sessions, and inventory workshops
. Serving as the key bridge between procurement and plant operations, maintenance, and finance leadership
. Overseeing two direct reports including a strategic buyer and a storeroom manager

What you need to bring:

. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
. 5+ years of purchasing management experience
. Background in manufacturing is required, automotive or aerospace experience is a strong plus
. Proven ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment
. Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
. U.S. Person status required (ITAR compliance)
. CPSM certification is a nice to have but not required
