Procurement Manager

Our client is a well-established global manufacturing organization seeking a strategic and results-driven Procurement Manager to join its supply chain team. This position will play a critical role in developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, driving cost savings initiatives, and ensuring supply continuity across multiple manufacturing operations. Job Description

Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives across assigned spend categories. Identify and qualify new suppliers to improve cost, quality, service, and risk mitigation. Lead supplier negotiations, contract discussions, and commercial agreements. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while managing supplier performance metrics. Monitor market trends, commodity movements, and material availability to support informed purchasing decisions. Drive continuous cost reduction and value improvement programs. Analyze spend data and procurement performance to identify opportunities for optimization. Partner closely with manufacturing, engineering, product development, and commercial teams. Support forecasting activities and long-term supply planning efforts. Develop supplier scorecards and KPI reporting to measure performance and accountability. Ensure continuity of supply and proactively manage procurement-related risks.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree. 5+ years of procurement, sourcing, or purchasing experience within a manufacturing environment. Proven experience developing and implementing sourcing strategies. Strong supplier relationship management experience. Demonstrated success negotiating contracts and supplier agreements. Experience achieving measurable cost savings and process improvements. Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate spend, supplier performance, and market trends. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
