This role is crucial for managing procurement processes, focusing on strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, risk management, and vendor performance. The position requires a blend of commercial strategy and risk management, ensuring that vendor decisions align with pricing, security, and regulatory standards.
Key Skills & Requirements:- 5+ years in procurement or strategic sourcing with a history of closing deals.
- Strong negotiation skills for strategic, financial, and business terms
- Understanding of contract structures and commercial mechanics.
- Strong analytical skills, including spend analysis and cost modeling.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with technology, information security, and SaaS procurement is a plus.
- Experience with third-party risk management and financial services regulations is desirable.
- Hands-on experience with procurement and contract management tools is advantageous.
- Preferred college degree in business or accounting.
