Black Tie Components is looking for an experienced, organized Procurement & Inventory Supervisor to join our manufacturing team in Hartford, South Dakota.
This position is responsible for purchasing, receiving, and inventory control for lumber, connector plates, hardware, and other production supplies. The Procurement & Inventory Supervisor helps ensure the materials our production team needs are available at the right time, cost, and quality while maintaining accurate inventory and reducing waste and unnecessary carrying costs.
We are looking for someone who can manage vendors, stay ahead of material needs, lead a team, and keep inventory organized and accurate.

This position works primarily in the manufacturing plant, warehouse, and yard environment.
The position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and reaching throughout the workday. Employees may regularly be exposed to noise, dust, changing temperatures, moving equipment, saws, presses, and other manufacturing machinery.
The Procurement & Inventory Supervisor must be able to frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally heavier items with assistance.
Personal protective equipment is required, along with adherence to all plant safety, machine-guarding, and lockout/tagout procedures.
Occasional travel to vendors and suppliers may be required.
