    Description

    Role: Operational Procurement Coordinator
    Duration: 18+ months contract
    Location: Atlanta, GA (Remote position - Preferred: East Coast or Central)

     
    We are currently hiring for the position of Operational Procurement Coordinator. This role is responsible for monitoring the order-to-pay process, ensuring supplier compliance, managing procurement operations, and supporting timely delivery of service parts.
     
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Manage and resolve SAP system setup and onboarding issues.
    • Monitor open purchase orders and ensure timely supplier confirmations, shipment updates, and tracking information.
    • Coordinate with suppliers to maintain accurate order data and ensure on-time deliveries.
    • Identify supply risks and execute supplemental purchase orders with secondary suppliers to minimize disruptions.
    • Support emergency part recovery, shipment tracking, and customer service inquiries.
    • Assist with supplier training, inventory reconciliation, and other procurement-related projects.
     
    Required Qualifications:
    • Associate's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field (Bachelor's preferred).
    • 3–5 years of procurement experience in industrial, MRO, or service parts environments.
    • Proficiency in SAP ERP and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and influence supplier compliance.
     
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
    • Professional certifications such as C.P.M., CPSM, or APICS.
    • 5+ years of procurement or parts management experience.
    Experience supporting Field Service Networks or Parts Distribution
