Procurement Contracting Manager (Strategic Procurement Department)

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree. A minimum of four years of procurement contracting experience in a large centralized purchasing environment or related managerial experience to include analytical work with contracts and one year of experience with the RFP and RFQ process is required. Professional purchasing certification highly preferred.

This is advanced responsible administrative and supervisory work in developing Requests for Proposals, Requests for Qualifications and Requests for Information in the central procurement operation of the County. Employees in this class are responsible for supervising a subordinate staff of professional employees and working in conjunction with a variety of County officials to develop and evaluate Requests for Proposals and Requests for Qualifications for a wide range of services.
